Toucan exists to unlock climate action at scale and transition the world towards an economy that thrives within the planetary boundaries.

To achieve this we’re seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer with a diverse range of skills and experiences to join our team and accelerate our mission.

At Toucan, you’ll be a key figure in driving the development, design, and optimization of the protocol and smart contracts for our decentralized applications. You’ll also contribute to creating tools and products that empower our users and partners to manage and offset carbon emissions, and enable the building of new applications on top of the Toucan Protocol.

And finally, you’ll work collaboratively on devising new features for our platform and/or partnering with industry leaders on climate action initiatives. Your expert knowledge of Solidity and blockchain principles will be instrumental in delivering robust, efficient, and secure solutions.

You are expected to independently handle intricate smart contract tasks, guide architectural decisions, and lead in resolving contract-related issues. Meeting or exceeding these expectations will be reflected in the robustness, efficiency, and security of our protocol and smart contracts.
