About the Role: We’re seeking a Performance Creative Strategist who pairs the analytical mindset of a media buyer with the storytelling instincts of a copywriter. Reporting to the VP of Brand & Creative, you will architect our creative testing roadmap—analyzing why ads work or fail, hypothesizing new angles, and writing briefs that produce winning assets for Meta and TikTok.What You Will Do- Translate data/marketing goals into clear Creative Briefs for editors/designers.- Support creation of scripts, hooks, headlines; distinguish brand story vs. direct-response hooks.- Partner with Paid Social Lead to define the weekly Creative Testing Agenda.- Innovate testing methods (hooks, value props, text overlays, CTAs vs. simple A/B).- Identify creative fatigue and prep next iterations.- Lead weekly Creative Review with metrics (Thumb-Stop, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR).- Turn insights into action (e.g., improve CTA when hold is high but clicks are low).- Maintain a swipe file of competitor ads and trending formats on TikTok/Meta.Who You Are- 2–4 years in creative strategy, copywriting, or performance marketing (DTC Ecommerce or Agency).- Comfortable with analysis in Excel and writing storyboards.- Understands selling psychology and frameworks (AIDA, PAS); fluent in platform formats and “safe zones.”- Strong volume management and fast feedback loops between buyers/designers.Bonus: Basic editing skills (CapCut/Canva/Premiere) and experience using AI tools for ideation/storyboarding.Location & Benefits: Boston, MA or New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).
