The Impact You’ll Make

Recursion is decoding biology to radically improve lives. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Director of Pharmacovigilance Operations to join our Pharmacovigilance team who will manage all aspects of pharmacovigilance operations to advance investigational compounds in Recursion’s growing clinical pipeline.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute pharmacovigilance (PV) operations in compliance with Regulatory requirements to advance the Recursion pipeline
  • Manage all outsourced PV activities, including but not limited to vendor oversight and quality review of literature and individual case safety report processing
  • Partner with clinical teams to implement PV-related processes such as adverse event reporting, database reconciliation, and 6-month line listing preparation
  • Drive preparation of safety documents such as DSURs and support medical pharmacovigilance with initial preparation and review of safety data
  • Identify and implement innovative PV processes using artificial intelligence that bolster Recursion’s tech-driven approach to drug development

The Team You’ll Join

Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Pharmacovigilance, you will be an essential member of the Recursion Clinical Development Team. The Development team is an empowered, execution-minded group of drug development professionals responsible for bringing Recursion’s ground-breaking science to the bedside.

The Experience You’ll Need

  • Life science degree or healthcare professional (PharmD, PhD, MS, BS, RN, or RPh).
  • 10+ years of pharmacovigilance operations experience in ICSR case processing, aggregate safety reporting, PV quality management systems, and PV compliance.
  • Expert knowledge of global PV regulatory guidelines and legislation requirements, e.g., US Code of Federal Regulations, European Union directives/regulations, Good Pharmacovigilance Practices
  • Knowledge of MedDRA and WHO Drug Dictionary
  • Demonstrated CRO management experience and study start-up experience

Working Location:

We will consider remote work for this position. We ask that remote employees commit to regular visits 1-2x/quarter at office locations for routine face-to-interactions, departmental events, or accommodate necessary business travel such as for site visits, conferences or regulatory meetings.

At Recursion, we believe that every employee should be compensated fairly. Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is:

Director:

  • Developing: $204,000
  • Skilled: $226,000
  • Expert: $250,000

Senior Director:

  • Developing: $261,000
  • Skilled: $290,000
  • Expert: $319,000

You will also be eligible for bonuses and equity compensation + our comprehensive benefits package for United States based candidates. The range displayed on each job posting reflects target ranges for US new hire salaries and is determined by job, level, and market factors.
