Position Overview

We are seeking a Recruiter to help us identify, attract, engage, and hire top-quality talent for our Manufacturing Production operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the EV, Battery, and Manufacturing sectors and be skilled in building a strong candidate pipeline from the ground up.

About the Role – You will:

• Partner closely with Proterra’s team to identify, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to engage top talent.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions, from sourcing to extending job offers.
• Build and maintain a network of talent through ongoing relationship management.
• Establish relationships with hiring managers and proactively report on pipeline activity to facilitate effective recruiting and hiring discussions.
• Measure performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in technical sourcing.
• Focus on inclusive recruiting practices.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when entering data into UltiPro (ATS).
• Assist with sourcing for other departments as needed.

• This position is part of the HR team that supports Proterra’s Manufacturing operations. You will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and collaborate with other HR and TA team members located at our headquarters in Greer, SC, and Burlingame, CA.

Your Experience Includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• More than 3 years of experience as a recruiter in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a business environment.
• Passion for building a consistent, diverse, and high-quality talent pipeline.
• Ability to engage passive talent with excellent written and oral communication skills.

You might also have:

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering operations.
