About the Role:
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and managing products to support Octave’s partnerships with enterprises. This semi-customer-facing role ensures our platform meets enterprise needs, collecting referrals from medication prescribers and primary care providers to therapists.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive enterprise product strategy and define well-scoped product requirements balancing user needs and business goals.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Operations, and business stakeholders to shepherd product solutions through the full product lifecycle: brainstorming, research, wireframing, testing, development, deployment, impact-evaluation, and optimization.
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback and act as the primary contact for large enterprise customers ensuring their needs are heard, understood and evaluated.
- Partner and coordinate with product and eng leaders across areas (e.g. growth, internal tools) to achieve goals.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of initiatives launched with partners.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the experience is user-friendly and efficient for use by relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure platform interoperability and data transfer with EHRs and other healthcare IT systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Outreach Management, Customer Experience, Care Navigation) and provide product training on new features.
- Ability to travel nationally approximately 20%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer 4+ years of experience in a product management role (preferably in healthcare) solving complex business problems with demonstrated measurable impact to the business and user experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, and data sharing.
- Experience with large enterprises (payers, PBMs, hospital systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in data integration, cloud platforms, and database management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Love to solve complex problems and build solutions that deliver business value.
- Take a hypothesis-based approach and experimentation.
- Synthesize, describe, and optimize complex business processes.
- Quantify impacts, both scrappily and leveraging advanced product analytics tools such as Mixpanel.
- Empathize with the perspective of a broad variety of end-users and stakeholders and share their stories with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Assess and synthesize information and share information in an accessible way.
- Be deeply curious and teachable; a growth mindset towards building new skills and taking on new responsibilities as our business needs mature and change.
- Demonstrate operational and/or cross-functional experience, especially with non-technical partners, coordinate varied viewpoints to build trust and shared accountability towards outcomes.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to frequently communicate with others through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet.
- Must be able to observe and communicate information on company provided laptop.
- Move up to 10 pounds on occasion.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.
The expected salary range for this role is $117,800 - $144,800.
Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
