Greenhouse is looking for a FP&A Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and business partnership for our R&D organization (Engineering and Product). You’ll be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making as we accelerate our investments and pivot to become an AI-first company.

What you’ll do

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the R&D organization
  • Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, headcount, and project ROI
  • Analyze and report on R&D spend, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support the transition to an AI-first strategy by modeling new business scenarios and investment cases
  • Collaborate with broader FP&A and GTM teams to connect financial planning across Sales, Marketing, and Product
  • Provide AWS cost modeling and forecasting support
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require

You should have

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting (3+ years of experience in a focused-FP&A role)
  • Strong analytical and financial skills; proficient in interpreting complex financial data, forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and deriving insights from data to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey goals and intentions in writing, explain solutions easily digestible by a wide audience
  • Ability to translate financial goals into business and operational plans, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong experience with Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Netsuite)
  • Experience in SaaS or cloud/subscription business models, a plus
  • Exposure to AWS cost modeling and forecasting, a plus
  • Experience partnering with Product or Engineering teams, a plus

The national pay range for this role is $114,200 - $143,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
