The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join us as we rapidly expand our client base. This person will report to our VP of Sales and will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership. This person will be responsible for:

Prospecting and lead generation

  • Researching and identifying potential clients through various channels
  • Using CRM tools to manage and track leads and sales activities
  • Conducting cold calls and sending outreach emails to engage prospective clients

Ongoing sales support

  • Organizing and participating in initial and ongoing calls with prospective clients
  • Supporting the sales team with presentation creation and sales strategy
  • Capturing key meeting notes, next steps, and follow ups

Working with sales and customer success teams

  • Collaborating with other sales, customer success, product, and administrative team members to ensure positive client experience and keep deals on track
  • Working closely with the sales team to share insights and feedback for continuous improvement
  • Assisting sales teams to fill gaps and support special projects as needed

Preparing for and attending industry events

  • Planning, budgeting, and executing various industry events and meetings
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, conferences and meetings to generate leads and meet with clients and prospective clients

Qualifications and Experience

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 2+ years experience in a technology sales roles preferably selling B2B SaaS within the healthcare or fintech industry
  • General healthcare and/or fintech industry knowledge
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Superb verbal and written skills with the ability to produce and present compelling presentations for internal and external use
  • An interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Executive presence and the ability to quickly build consensus with senior level internal and external executives
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, liberal arts or a related field

Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 per year
