Job Title: Intern Developer - Aircraft Health Management (Palantir Foundry)

Job Overview: As an Intern Developer specializing in Aircraft Health Management, with expertise in Palantir Foundry, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technology. This internship is designed for a motivated individual who possesses a strong interest in aerospace engineering, software development, and a specific focus on utilizing Palantir Foundry for health management applications.

Responsibilities:

Palantir Foundry Development:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, code, test, and debug software solutions for Aircraft Health Management using Palantir Foundry.

  • Leverage Palantir Foundry's capabilities for data integration, analytics, and visualization to enhance health monitoring systems.

Digital Twin Integration:

  • Contribute to the development and integration of digital twin solutions within the Palantir Foundry environment, ensuring accurate representation of aircraft systems and components.

Data Analytics and Visualization:

  • Assist in developing algorithms and analytics tools using Palantir Foundry to extract actionable insights from aircraft health data.

  • Contribute to the creation of visualizations and reports for effective communication of health and performance metrics.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Work closely with aerospace engineers, software developers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration of Palantir Foundry-based solutions into the Aircraft Health Management workflow.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Assist in developing and executing test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of software solutions developed using Palantir Foundry.

  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues.

Documentation:

  • Contribute to the creation of documentation for software development processes, code, and system architecture, specifically focusing on Palantir Foundry implementations.

  • Maintain documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and support future development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with or coursework experience in Palantir Foundry is a strong plus.

  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

  • Strong interest in aerospace technology and Aircraft Health Management.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies.

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Prior internship experience or personal projects related to software development and Palantir Foundry is a plus.
