Your role in the team:
You will report to the "Head Composites Production" and work closely with our Aircraft Systems and Final Assembly teams.
We are looking for experienced and motivated professionals with an eye for detail and strong safety awareness. You will build fiber composite components and assemblies for Lilium's revolutionary jets. This will include prototyping, as well as assisting with testing and ramping up to full-scale production. You will work closely with our manufacturing engineering team to provide design improvements to the Lilium jet with your feedback.

Your day-to-day:
- Responsibility for safety, on-time delivery, and quality in all phases of aerostructure manufacturing
- Assembly and stitching of high-performance structural components made of plastic, ceramic and fiber composite materials
- Final assembly of the overall structure from metal and fiber composite components
- Collaboration in identifying opportunities for improvement
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering as well as other teams in production
Your profile:
- Completed technical training or comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in prototype construction or small series production in the aerospace industry or similar industries
- Production of fits as well as joining methods customary in the industry, e.g. HI-LOKs, HI-LITES
- Expertise in surface preparation for bonding, as well as experience in bonding and joining components
- Proficiency in cutting, trimming, and machining composite parts within tight tolerances using hand tools
- Ability to read documentation and work according to instructions - even in English!
