Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.

Having high quality training data is mission critical to our business. As the product manager in charge of our internal Annotation Tools / Platform, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering the next generation of tools to help us build world class AI / computer vision models. More importantly, you will be the single point of contact for the Engineering and Business teams and responsible for driving collaboration by creating a shared understanding of success and rally everyone towards it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with our ML, Software Engineering, and Clinical Data Operations / Annotations team(s) to build out the roadmap for our Annotations Tools / Platform.
• Define, own and timely re-evaluated the standard processes, data and integration of the annotation platform with the rest of the platform ecosystem.
• Defining key metrics for adoption to determine the overall success of the platform. And migration of existing processes and data into the platform.
• Working with product designers and UI experts to better understand user behavior and pain points, and improve overall product usability
• Collaborating with the engineering team on tech-specs and ensuring that all technical decisions are taken keeping in mind all short-term and long-term tradeoffs.
• Prioritizing complex dependency management scenarios including APIs and Microservices

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in product management building highly technical or data driven products.
• Previous exposure to AI / ML operations, including annotations / training data generation.
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that help you articulate user problems precisely

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working within Enterprise B2B SaaS products / platforms
• Ability to understand and comment on technical design / requests for comment
• Understanding of common AI modeling methodologies, and how different training data sets can potentially impact the models.
• Previous experience working with internal tools / data platforms.
• BA / BS in a Technical Discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math)

Applicant note: Iterative Health is running a 3 month return to office pilot for any employee within a 45 minute commute of our Cambridge, MA; Dallas, TX; or New York City offices. If you are hired for a role, and live within a 45 minute commute of one of those office locations, you will be asked to report to the office twice per week. Exceptions to this pilot will be made as necessary.
