Diamond Foundry is looking to expand its People Ops team with an Office Manager to help support the NorCal locations. This individual will be the first point of contact in all things offices and help with enabling our People Ops and HR functions. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and is ready to learn. The role of the Office Manager is to be the front line to both internal and external parties and will help support activities related to general HR inquiries, building strong relationships, and instilling a collaborative and close-knit work environment. Strong interpersonal and relationship-nurturing skills are an absolute must.

Responsibilities:

  • Own onboarding, acting as the shepherd of the new hire experience for the Bay Area locations including performing first-day activities on location as well as assisting with offboarding of employees, partnering with stakeholders
  • Responsible for maintaining daily office operations from lunch/catering management, vendor relations, and triaging requests for the main offices, partnering with facilities and other team members as needed.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all office-related related from directing and funneling questions, to setting up for unique events/situations, as well as HR, guiding staff to the right resources for assistance.
  • Be the culture champion whether it’s milestones, appreciation days, or company events, and building a sense of community
  • Support Executive staff with administrative tasks as needed, understanding the intricacies of where information should go, using the utmost discretion

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 + years of office management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, Start-Up experience required.
  • Experience with HR and office administration tasks with a sense of responsibility when it comes to the employee and guest experience
  • Impeccable communication both verbal and written with strong attention to detail - the little details matter the most
  • Able to visit locations both in SSF and Fremont regularly
  • Technically savvy with Google applications and various programs and systems

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
