We seek a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to lead our single-crystal diamond ingot growth operations team in Wenatchee, WA (position based in Wenatchee). Reporting to the SVP of Operations, the ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a dynamic setting. This critical role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with the ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The role will maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including lean methods, to enhance production capabilities, reduce waste, and minimize cycle time.
- Lead a 24x7 operation team of production technicians, supervisors, and managers.
- Deploy optimized process flows, standard operating procedures, and MES while adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate across the organization, communicate frequently with executives, and work closely with Human Resources to foster a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience as an Operations Manager.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of production management and lean implementation; APICS CPIM certification preferred.
- Based at the Diamond Foundry site in Wenatchee, WA.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
