Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.
As an Engineering Program Manager in our semiconductor applications group, you will leverage your engineering background to comprehend product requirements, technical risks, and validation plans for introducing new products. Your role involves communicating project status, highlighting risks, and devising recovery plans if necessary. You demonstrate organizational skills and diligence in follow-ups, ensuring that priorities, commitments, and schedules are aligned. Effective communication with external customers and internal teams is crucial, and you should be enthusiastic about advanced packaging

Responsibilities:

  • Launch technical programs focused on wafer and die bonding as well as packaging, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Define specifications relevant to both R&D and volume production stages.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project progress and manage expectations.
  • Conduct regular program reviews aimed at continuously improving product performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical or Engineering program management, or related roles in the semiconductor, chip packaging, HDD, or related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fast learner, detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in advanced packaging or wafer bonding is a plus.
