Responsibilities
SOPs & Documentation: Write, revise, and audit Equipment Operations SOPs, work instructions, and technical materials to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
Workforce Development: Partner with trainers and engineers to build, maintain, and scale technical qualification and cross-training programs.
Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and process-mapping initiatives on the production floor to reduce cycle times and operational variation.
Knowledge Management: Eliminate "tribal knowledge" by creating scalable, standardized systems to capture and transfer lessons learned across teams.
Operational Flexibility: Support shifting engineering and production priorities by driving ad-hoc projects and system rollouts.
Requirements
Education: Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing, continuous improvement, technical training, or quality assurance. Experience with complex manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
Technical Writing: Proven ability to simplify highly technical engineering processes into concise, usable, and compliant document control frameworks.
Continuous Improvement (CI): Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, structured problem-solving, and data-driven process optimization.
Soft Skills: Excellent cross-functional communication, comfort working independently through ambiguity, and an ownership-driven mindset.

The position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and location. We will also consider higher-level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.
