Job Description

A bit about this role:

The Manager of Clinical Operations will join a quickly growing team of leaders, social workers, care coordinators, and big hearted folks who support and serve Devoted’s most vulnerable members with Behavioral Health needs. Within Behavioral Health, there is a tremendous need and we are responding by growing our interventions and service lines to meet patient demand.

This position will support the Director of Operations to manage service operations, analysis, people management, strategic planning, and project management.

Required skills and experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience driving operational performance improvement with data (i.e. developing metrics & targets, analyzing trends, driving performance improvement, reporting outcomes)

  • Proven track record as a builder by connecting the dots of the U.S. healthcare system - you thrive in developing teams and leaders

  • Proficiency with analytical tools & enthusiasm for learning to use new platforms (examples: Excel, Looker, Snowflake)

  • Proven track record for seeing “the forest through the trees” - rigorous prioritization, informed by thoughtfully weighing multiple inputs is a must (organizational objectives, data analysis, stakeholder appeasement, investment vs. impact)

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven leadership, agility, & collaboration skills, including either direct or dotted line management experience

  • Leadership intuition that people are the most important aspects of our work; respect and caring for those around you and those you serve

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Analysis: Leverage data analysis tools to measure and report on program, team, individual efficacy. Be able to create solutions to problems rooted in data, and advise on operational considerations and clinical outcomes.

  • Service Operations: Support creating deliverables around program’s growth strategy & outcomes, both clinical and operational, from forecasting demand to optimizing member engagement to improve overall program effectiveness & throughput

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize & execute on program’s clinical operational agenda, with particular emphasis on growth strategy, performance optimization & change management initiatives

  • Process Improvement: Own portfolio of high-value cross-disciplinary initiatives to advance programmatic efficiency/effectiveness, including close collaboration with product, engineering, data science, & member experience teams

  • People Management: Support building a culture of collaboration, transparency, and fun! Manage employee engagement, track employee performance, and analyze trends. Develop strategies to improve performance and engagement in a virtual environment.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $126,000 / year

Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
