Description

We are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused AI Solution Engineer to sit at the intersection of technology and business transformation. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be the primary builder of AI-powered solutions that eliminate manual workflows, accelerate decision-making, and scale operational efficiency across every department. You will serve as the organization's internal AI practitioner, partnering with department leaders, operations teams, and IT to identify automation opportunities and turn them into production-ready solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Agent & Automation Development

  • Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered agents and bots using frontier models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini) to automate complex, multi-step business workflows
  • Architect multi-agent systems capable of planning, tool use, memory management, and autonomous task execution across enterprise systems
  • Build automation pipelines that integrate AI with existing platforms (ERP, CRM, HRIS, ticketing systems, communication tools)
  • Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks, system prompts, and agent instruction sets optimized for reliability and performance

Enterprise AI Enablement

  • Partner with department heads and operational teams to identify, prioritize, and scope high-impact automation opportunities
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working prototypes rapidly
  • Establish reusable AI components, toolkits, and internal libraries that accelerate future development across the organization
  • Define and maintain standards for AI solution architecture, safety guardrails, and responsible deployment practices

Integration & Deployment

  • Integrate LLM agents with enterprise APIs, databases, document stores, and SaaS platforms via REST APIs, webhooks, and MCP/tool-use frameworks
  • Deploy solutions on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with appropriate monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for knowledge-grounded automation using internal company data
  • Ensure solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant with data governance policies

Continuous Improvement & Measurement

  • Use performance metrics to demonstrate ROI and identify improvement areas
  • Proactively iterate on deployed solutions based on user feedback and model/tool advancements
  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving LLM and agentic AI landscape and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and models for organizational applicability

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field.

AI & LLM Engineering (2+ years)

  • Hands-on experience building production-grade applications on top of LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering: chain-of-thought, few-shot learning, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and system prompt design
  • Experience building agentic systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or custom agent architectures
  • Solid understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), and embedding models
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent tool-use and integration patterns

Software Engineering (4+ years)

  • Proficiency in Python (primary) and at least one of: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js
  • Experience with REST API design and consumption, webhooks, and event-driven architecture
  • Ability to work with SQL and NoSQL databases; comfortable querying and transforming structured and unstructured data
  • Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices for deploying and maintaining cloud-hosted services

Enterprise Systems & Integrations (2 + years)

  • Practical experience integrating with enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, ServiceNow)
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier) and when to layer AI on top of them vs. build custom
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, API keys, SSO)

Soft Skills & Organizational Impact (4+ years)

  • Strong problem decomposition skills — can take a vague operational problem and turn it into a scoped, deliverable solution
  • Bias toward action and speed of delivery without sacrificing reliability
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments simultaneously with competing priorities

Base Salary/ Wage Range $125,000 to $145,000 with annual bonus. Compensation for the role is commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. ConcertoCare offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes full healthcare coverage, a 401K with match, and a broad range of other health, wellness, and financial benefits.
